• Location: Torrance, CA 90503 (California nursing jobs)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel RN Contract)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/29/2025 – End: 12/28/2025)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,320 - $2,380
• Caseload: Geriatric home health patients; up to 6 visits per day (30 productivity points standard)
• Travel Radius: Occasional maximum radius of 50+ miles; routes efficiently grouped to minimize drive time

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent skilled Home Health RN experience (within the last 3 years)
• Proficient with OASIS documentation for start of care and ongoing visits
• BLS certification required
• Reliable personal transportation for home visits

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to geriatric patients in home settings
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Complete OASIS documentation for all start of care and follow-up visits
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medication administration, and home safety
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation for all patient interactions
