• Facility: Acute Care Hospital, Emergency Department (37 beds, avg. 130 visits/day)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am), every other weekend
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1640-$1680
• Start Date: November 4, 2025
• End Date: February 3, 2026
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Parking: Free on-site parking

ER RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license (must be issued/active before start)
• Certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred: CPI and TNCC certifications
• Proficiency with Epic EMR charting system
• Ability to float to meet facility and department needs
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• First-time travel nurses not accepted

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages: neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform triage, assessment, and treatment for diverse diagnoses and trauma cases
• Manage arterial and central lines, administer blood products, and provide continuous IV sedation
• Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias, manage ventilated patients, and respond to rapid response calls
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology
• Float between similar units as needed to support hospital operations
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
