Travel Nursing Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel/Locum Tenens
• Location: Washington, Iowa 52353 (Eastern Iowa healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift: Night shift, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Schedule: Weeknights with every 4th weekend required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020 per week

ER RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state (Iowa nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Room
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and urgent medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
