Home Health RN Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Home Health RN experience
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
• Recent skills checklist (completed within 1 year)
• Updated work history/resume
• RN license verification
• 1 supervisory reference required at submission
• Proof of taxable address (driver’s license, utility bill, lease/rental agreement, etc.)

Homecare RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to home health patients as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical team members
• Float within the same nursing discipline across local campuses as needed
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as required
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
