The Community You’ll Be Caring For
AdventHealth East Orlando, a 265-bed community hospital, has been serving East Orlando residents since 1941 as an innovative local leader that fills a vital need in a fast-growing area
- A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion project upgraded the hospital to 265 beds, with a spacious patient tower and 80 new private rooms designed to enhance the holistic care experience
- Annual number of emergency cases: 89,018
The Role You’ll Contribute
The Security Screener performs customer service and safety screening duties through professional and positive interaction with the public, patients, employees, and administrators.
The Value You’ll Bring to the Team
- Provides a consistently high level of service and satisfaction to patients and guests focusing on the AdventHealth Mission
- Serves as the initial greeter to all patients, visitors, and employees entering the facility
- Utilizes customer services skills to respectively work with all community members
- Creates and issues visitor badges to people entering the facility
- Screens persons entering facility in accordance with organizational protocols
Qualifications
The Expertise and Experiences You’ll Need to Succeed
- Customer Experience acumen and professionalism
- Ability to read accurately and comprehend, write clearly, and follow simple directions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, penal codes, vehicular codes, reports, memos, communications, policies, and other required written materials
- Ability to actively listen and communicate effectively through clear speech, and hearing
- Computer literacy with ability to use basic hospital applications and information management systems as required
Education and Experience Required
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
