Aegis Worldwide is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and optimize hourly production teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will drive productivity, ensure product quality, maintain safety standards, and support employee development, while fostering a continuous improvement culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Productivity & Quality: Oversee production lines to ensure efficient operations and adherence to production schedules; Maintain and monitor product quality standards throughout the manufacturing process; Actively promote a continuous improvement mindset across all production activities.
  • Safety & Sanitation: Ensure daily housekeeping and cleanliness standards for the shift; Monitor compliance with plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs); Conduct safety audits and enforce adherence to safety policies; Monitor, document, and act on requirements related to the Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and prerequisite programs; Report food safety and quality concerns to management promptly.
  • Project Management & Reporting: Complete project objectives on time and efficiently; Prepare and analyze daily production, operating, and efficiency reports; Support line startups and shutdowns as needed.
  • Employee Training & Development: Train and coach hourly production employees on safety, operational procedures, and best practices; Conduct employee evaluations and provide feedback to drive performance and engagement; Support retention by fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Management, Supervision, or Food Manufacturing Organization (FMO) – Required; 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related industry – Preferred; 1–2 years of supervisory experience – Required; Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with production reporting systems; Technical knowledge of food-related manufacturing equipment; Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams.
  • Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong decision-making abilities and independent thinking; Ability to proactively solve problems with a sense of urgency; Initiative, ingenuity, and strong teamwork orientation; On-the-job training experience and familiarity with HACCP principles.
