Home Health RN Job Details

• Location: Crystal Falls, Michigan (Upper Peninsula – renowned for outdoor recreation and friendly communities)
• Position Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
• Healthcare Setting: Home Health
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (approx. 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; flexible based on patient census)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100–$2250
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/3/2026)
• On-call Requirement: Weekday call required
• Patient Load: 20–25 patients per week, 4–5 home visits per day; travel territory may require up to 100+ miles/day (mileage reimbursed at government rate)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan and Wisconsin (required for multi-state travel nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of home health RN experience (2+ years preferred)
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• OASIS certification a plus
• Proficiency with OASIS and Epic EMR charting required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Homecare RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive home health nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Complete OASIS admissions, episode management, and all required documentation points
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in Epic EMR
• Perform clinical skills including wound care, IV therapy, port management, lab draws, and chronic disease management
• Demonstrate strong time management, adaptability, and resilience in a travel nursing environment
• Exhibit compassion, dependability, and a positive attitude in all patient interactions
