Set up, conduct and monitor dynamic, static and abuse/cycle testing, including data acquisition systems Maintain test equipment and fixtures in good working order including calibrations, spare parts, procurement, maintenance, etc. Read and understand test plans Read and interpret technical drawings Review test matrix and design test setups Design and build/oversee build test fixtures/platforms Create and maintain internal test facility manuals, procedures, work instructions, etc. Maintain internal testing schedule Coordinate with engineers and other departments Keep up to date with the latest industry testing methodologies and testing equipment Monitor and document test results Review and write test reports May oversee test technicians Qualifications
Education General qualifications – Education, Knowledge, and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline is required Experience Level III: 7+ years of experience Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Electro/mechanical background Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team Mechanically inclined (familiar with shop tools) Fluent in English (written, oral and presentation) Good organization and time-management skills Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Preferred Skills/Experience Portable CMM experience (such as FARO or ROMER arm) Knowledge of FAA/EASA requirements Script/Code writing CAD experience Other Must be able to carry 40 lbs Extended or irregular hours may be required Must be authorized to work in the United States Elevate Aircraft Seating is an “at-will” employer; employment is at the mutual consent of both the employee and the employer, and may be terminated at will for any reason, with or without cause, at any time during employment with the Company As business conditions warrant a change in the operating necessities of the Company, all employees are expected to react productively, handle other essential tasks assigned now or in the future Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at a division Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
$100,000 - $125,000
