We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven
Receivables Collections Specialist
to join our finance team on a fixed-term basis for 6 to 9 months. You will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable. You'll work cross-functionally to minimize overdue balances while maintaining strong, professional communication with our customers.
Responsibilities
Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence regarding overdue invoices
Review and act on accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection efforts accordingly
Maintain accurate records of collection activity and customer communications
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and internal teams to resolve payment issues
Process incoming credit card payments
Support teammates with investigations and resolving billing discrepancies
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal standards
Education & Qualifications
High school diploma required
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable collections
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proven success in collections or similar role
Familiarity with billing systems and collection strategies
Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
Goal-oriented with a calm and persistent approach
Strong communication skills across multiple channels
