Senior Technical Revenue Recognition Analyst Dassault Systèmes

is seeking a Senior Technical Revenue Recognition Analyst to manage revenue recognition topics across North America and LATAM. The role is part of a global Corporate Finance team headquartered in Paris, France, collaborating across geographies to drive value for the company. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and dynamic team that supports our sales forces in structuring commercial contracts to ensure revenue recognition compliance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 and will work closely with legal, sales support, and other accounting and finance teams. The position offers an opportunity to contribute at the heart of a publicly listed software company in the era of AI and generative experiences. This role is located at the 3DS Waltham campus on a hybrid basis, supporting revenue recognition for deals in the Americas, in accordance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 and the Group Policy, and will assist in optimizing revenue outcomes during deal negotiations.

Your main missions

Review the deals in the sales pipeline to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 and the Group Revenue Recognition policy.

Prepare the review and summary of the accounting treatment of transactions closed at quarter end.

Identify all significant revenue recognition topics and areas requiring judgment for deals in negotiation, derive conclusions or accounting options, and communicate them to Finance Management and other business partners.

Work with Business Administration teams, pricing, legal and sales during deal negotiation to structure deals and propose alternatives to optimize revenue while ensuring IFRS 15/ASC 606 compliance.

Be the focal contact for revenue recognition topics within the Group.

Engage in the implementation and adherence of activities and procedures related to the Group “Order-to-Cash” process.

Prepare requests for revenue adjustments to be booked by Billing and Revenue Accounting teams.

Assist Billing and Revenue Accounting in the review or reconciliation of revenue accounts and related balance sheet accounts.

Participate in Revenue Recognition Group projects to improve and automate processes and reporting.

Contribute to technical accounting guidance research for development or clarification of the Group Revenue Recognition policy, monitor and communicate new guidance applicable to 3DS revenue recognition.

Interact with internal and external auditors and coordinate responses to their requests.

Provide trainings on Revenue Recognition rules for other business partners/organizations of the Group when required.

Participate in due diligence and integration of acquired companies.

Qualifications Graduated from a university with a bachelor’s degree specialized in Finance, Accounting or related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience. Strong expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606 and its application, collaborating with sales teams and other business partners in structuring and guiding the creation of complex customer contracts from a revenue recognition perspective.

You are dynamic, curious, and have strong analytical skills with clear, concise, and effective communication. Your ability to anticipate, attention to detail, and adaptability will enable you to thrive in a fast-moving environment. You enjoy teamwork and can collaborate with various teams on projects.

Qualifications – Additional

Expert in IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606 and revenue recognition topics applied to business cases.

Specific experience in revenue recognition at (and/or auditing) software companies is strongly preferred.

Excellent communicator with effective verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Positive attitude and strong team spirit with the ability to collaborate with business partners.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

Proactive, well organized, autonomous and adaptable team player.

Strong skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other common business tools.

CPA license (active or inactive) or experience with revenue-related journal entries; exposure to ERP and Revenue Accounting tools is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience. The total compensation for the role is expected to be between $118,200 and $158,600, including base pay and target bonus.
