SAP - Core Supply Chain - PP - QM - Senior Manager - Consulting - Location OPEN EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Technology practice to engage with business stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and design and deliver SAP-based solutions. Location: Anywhere in Country. Responsibilities
Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis. Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met. Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements. Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen, staying abreast of current trends relevant to the client’s business. Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and informing key stakeholders of developments and outcomes. Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust. Leading and motivating diverse teams, providing feedback and coaching, and fostering an innovative, inclusive, and team-oriented environment while mentoring junior consultants. Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively addressing client needs, cultivating long-term client relationships across EY practices. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred. Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience. At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within a functional consulting or system configuration role. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members. Knowledge of best practices in supply chain, with benchmarking and advisory experience related to supply chain-specific technology functions. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40-60%. Experience in conducting technology cost-benefit analyses; Familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks. Skills in training design and delivery. Ideally, you’ll also have
Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certification(s). Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP. Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) specifically working with the SAP Production Planning (PP) module. Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Experience integrating SAP PP with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SAP Quality Management (QM). Experience performing hands-on SAP system configuring in PP. Experience designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications. Experience writing and executing test scripts, and delivering end-user training materials. Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM, MDM, and Materials Management modules. Knowledge of manufacturing operations, preferably in complex industrial equipment and assembly line operations. Knowledge of product lifecycle management, including Engineering BOMs and Manufacturing BOMs. Experience with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order models. What We Look For
