SAP - Core Supply Chain - PP - QM - Senior Manager - Consulting - Location OPEN Join EY for the SAP - Core Supply Chain - PP - QM - Senior Manager - Consulting role. EY focuses on leveraging SAP technology to improve client operations within our SAP service lines (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch, and SuccessFactors). Responsibilities
Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis. Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met. Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements. Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities with strong business acumen; staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client. Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed of developments and expected outcomes. Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust. Effectively leading and motivating diverse teams, providing constructive feedback and coaching; fostering an innovative, inclusive, and team-oriented environment while mentoring junior consultants. Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing client needs; cultivating long-term client relationships across EY practices. On engagements, you will understand stakeholders’ needs, advise on SAP system capabilities, initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprint, test, and complete workflow and documentation, including functional design and configurations/integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. You will combine technical and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and deliver results. Key skills include: Strong technical skills in application functional design and requirements definition. Ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios. Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred. Typically, 5 - 7 years of relevant experience. At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within a functional consulting or system configuration role. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills. Experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members. Knowledge of best practices in supply chain, along with benchmarking and advisory experience related to supply chain-specific technology functions. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies. Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40-60%. Experience in technology cost-benefit analyses and familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks. Skills in training design and delivery. Ideally, you’ll also have
Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certification(s). Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP. Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) specifically working with the SAP Production Planning (PP) module. Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Experience integrating SAP PP with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SAP Quality Management (QM). Hands-on SAP system configuring in PP. Experience designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications. Experience writing and executing test scripts and delivering training materials for end users. Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and:FICO for product costing and order settlement; EWM for production supply and receiving; PPDS; PLM systems and BOM ownership; Master Data Management (MDM) for manufacturing data; Materials Management for Inventory and Procurement. Knowledge of manufacturing operations, preferably in complex industrial equipment or similar, including assembly line operations. Knowledge of product lifecycle management, including Engineering BOMs and Manufacturing BOMs. Experience with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order business models. What We Look For
