Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is merchandised and available, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work. The Inbound team are experts at unloading trailer deliveries and preparing the merchandise to be stocked on the sales floor. Skills & Development

The role of an Inbound Operations Team Leader can provide the following: Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture on your team Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies Planning department daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals Leading a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talent Responsibilities

As an Inbound Operations Team Leader, a typical day includes responsibilities such as: Understanding sales goals, plans and executing daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement Leading and sharing expertise in operations, accuracy and efficiency With guidance from your direct leader, establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable Utilize workload planning tools to complete scheduled work and ensure areas are guest ready at store open Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends) Assess GM backroom, sales floor areas and review reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve issues Enable a consistent experience by ensuring product is available for purchase Lead and follow up on organizational and operational change Build and develop a GM expert team from selection through onboarding and ongoing training Demonstrate inclusivity and ethical conduct, safety and compliance Lead safety culture, identify hazards, and respond to incidents timely Model security processes to enhance in-store security Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store If applicable, follow safe and secure training and processes Address store and offsite emergency and compliance needs Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive Up with compliance to laws Welcome guests and engage with them to meet their needs Lead by thanking guests for shopping at Target All other duties based on business needs Qualifications & What We Are Looking For
