Overview

Member Frontline Cashier role at Walmart. You may be the first, last, or only associate our members interact with at the front end. You will smile, greet, and thank members, run registers, and support self-checkout to help members have a positive experience.

Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Run registers and support self-checkout experience for members
• Scan items, process payments, and maintain a clean, organized area
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and answer member questions
• Assist members with payments and transactions using registers or self-checkout
• Maintain a safe and efficient checkout area, and support club operations as needed

Qualifications

• Thrive in fast-paced environments
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Customer service oriented with a focus on member satisfaction
• Ability to stand for long periods and assist members quickly and accurately
• Problem solver who handles obstacles to complete tasks with excellence
• Experience with front-end equipment (cash register) and mobile retail applications is a plus

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances. Eligibility for benefits and terms apply per location and role.
