Chief Engineer/Engineering Manager for JdV by Hyatt – Brooklyn, NY at Midas Hospitality. Midas Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the maintenance department at the JdV by Hyatt in Brooklyn, NY. This person will oversee all aspects of the hotel maintenance department including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and the preventive maintenance program. What You Will Be Doing
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Diagnoses problems or repairs machines. Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment. Maintains a Preventative Maintenance Program within the rooms and all equipment within the hotel, to ensure standards are met quarterly with proper documentation. Responds to maintenance requests from Front Desk or Housekeeping within 15 minutes (occupied rooms). Kitchen, Bar and Restaurant Maintenance. Responsible for all New York City and State Fire, Life and Safety requirements. The Ideal Candidate
At least 2 years of facilities experience. Experience in a hotel management or supervisor position. Experience with NYC building regulations. Has their FLSD Certificate. Will create and implement a Hotel Safety Committee. About Us
