Assistant Automotive Store Manager Pay : Competitive,
$18-$22
per hour. This is a full-time, hourly position based on business needs. The Assistant Manager is a key holder and serves as the manager on duty (MOD) in the absence of the Store Manager or when demand requires it. The role supports the operation of an automotive retail service and repair store to meet service standards and Monro’s profitability goals. The position requires ensuring teammates deliver 5-star service to guests through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions, meeting guest expectations for time and quality. Responsibilities
Schedule guest appointments to optimize technician efficiency and timely completion of services/repairs. Help achieve Monro’s sales goals by informing and recommending tire and service products and promotions. Attend to guest needs in sales, service, complaints, and adjustments. Build guest relationships to maximize satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Assist technicians in conveying repair and service needs to guests. Maintain store conditions in line with Monro standards for cleanliness and guest readiness. Assist with inventory management, including pulling tires and parts and stocking. Provide direction and oversight to technicians and assist with services/repairs. Organize workflow to optimize technician utilization and timely completion according to Monro standards. Understand and adhere to company policies, governmental standards, environmental codes, and ANSI/OSHA standards; follow safety requirements. Perform Store Manager functions as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. 2+ years of automotive and sales experience. Valid Driver License. Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent communication skills and basic math for calculating figures such as discounts and percentages. Guest- and team-focused mindset. Background checks may be conducted in accordance with law; the company considers the nature of any offenses, timing, and relevance to the position. Preferred Qualifications Automotive State Inspector License. ASE Automotive Certifications. Proven automotive sales experience. Leadership experience. Additional Information
