Overview
Store Manager in Training-1 (SMIT) role at CVS Health. The SMIT program is designed to develop you for a CVS Store Manager position through a self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks, with both virtual and hands-on learning experiences. You will be supported by a district leader, HR business partner, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach. Responsibilities
Participate in structured, self-paced training to develop leadership capabilities for store management. Support your store as a management team member and lead in alignment with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in pursuing the company’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Actively collaborate with leaders during key learning experiences to support progression toward promotion. Contribute to store operations by supporting customer service, merchandising, inventory management, and asset protection as part of the development program. Qualifications
Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager roles within the designated market. Ability to transfer to CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree is preferred or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor, is preferred. Details
Anticipated weekly hours: 40 Time Type: Full time Pay Range: $18.50 - $28.67 per hour (base). Actual offer depends on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Promotion to Store Manager is not guaranteed and depends on performance and openings. Benefits
