Job Details

• Location: Fort Wayne, IN 46804 (Indiana nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Telemetry Unit (24 beds)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: October 27, 2025
• End Date: January 26, 2026
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; block scheduling available
• Floating: Required to other hospital units as needed
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs
• EMR System: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience
• Proficient in interpreting telemetry strips and administering medications
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Ability to float to other clinical units as needed
• Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Valid driver's license and permanent home address required upon submission

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to cardiac telemetry patients in a hospital setting
• Accurately interpret and monitor telemetry strips
• Administer medications and perform thorough charting assessments
• Conduct bedside shift reports and maintain clear communication with the healthcare team
• Float to other units as needed to support patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
