• Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 10 beds
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026)
• Patient Population: Adult patients
• Electronic Health Record: MediTech
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2020 - $2070

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult)
• Successful completion of background checks (criminal and child abuse)
• Recent titers (within the last 12 months)
• 10-panel drug screening including opiates

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and manage patients with acute conditions such as COPD, chest pain, and cardiac drips
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Mindray equipment and MediTech EHR for patient monitoring and clinical documentation
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and their families
• Float to other hospital units as needed
