Job Description
***Only qualified Network Project Manager candidates located near Redmond, WA, to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Education: • Bachelor's degree in project management or related field. • Project management certifications will be a plus
Required Qualifications: • Experience in Network Operations • Understanding of Basic Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts • 4-5 years of past experience with customer/vendor management. • Experience in managing and creating schedules, tracking shipments, creating and sharing meeting notes, flexible and being able to adjust to changing conditions, unexpected problems, and shifting priorities. • Expertise in driving major technical project including coordinating with internal and external teams to meet deadlines. • Great with using basic network tools • Highly experienced in writing technical solution details that can be presented to customers and other internal parties. • Project management experience in a highly technical environment • Build and develop processes to improve delivery times • Take up on-call responsibilities if needed • Excellent document writing skills • Experience with driving schedules and coordinating and sharing timelines between customers and vendors. • Experience with managing priorities with the tasks involved in driving the project to success. • Some of the tasks can involve updating trackers, keeping internal teams up to date on latest updates related to the project, creating documents depicting all details of upcoming steps for the project, writing technical solutions based on discussions with experts involved, getting approvals from various teams to get these solutions finalized, tracking the implementations and reporting successes and follow-ups needed. • Network monitoring and management skills • Network/equipment software and hardware troubleshooting skills • Ability to execute OS command line • Ability to operate common network tools • Knowledge of concepts, terminology, and operations of a wide range of communications media (satellite, fiber, wireless) etc. • Knowledge of measures or indicators of system performance and availability. • Team player, problem solver, organized, excellent communication skills and great collaborator.
Desired Skills: • Knowledge of RF concepts is a plus • Basic architectural knowledge of 4G/LTE and 5G RAN networks is a plus
