Overview

The Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of our front end. You may be the first, last, and sometimes only associate our members interact with. You should smile, greet, and thank each member. We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support members through the self-checkout experience. The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holiday seasons. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members: scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area. It’s hard work, but our cashiers find it rewarding as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
• Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering questions
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Assist with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns
• Promote the company’s products and services and guide members regarding self-service technology
• Process member purchases and assist with transactions using registers or self-checkout
• Zone the area and arrange and organize merchandise

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Customer Service, Retail experience including operating front end equipment (e.g., cash register)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with mobile retail applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task effectively, and prioritize member satisfaction
• Ability to stand for long periods and assist members quickly and accurately
