Join a dynamic organization with offices in both Waco and Irving, TX as a key HR Generalist. This is an integral role responsible for supporting all daily HR operations and strategic initiatives across multiple locations. You will be the primary point of contact for employees, helping to foster a positive, compliant, and efficient workplace.

This position requires travel between the Waco and Irving offices.

Responsibilities

This is a true "Generalist" role with a wide range of duties, giving you ownership over critical functions:

Recruitment, Onboarding & Compliance

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to extending offers, ensuring a smooth transition for all new hires.
  • Conduct new-hire orientations and ensure data integrity by accurately updating employee records in HRIS systems.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and prepare necessary compliance documentation (OSHA, EEO, Vets-100, etc.).

Payroll, Benefits & Administration

  • Oversee payroll processing, including time and attendance monitoring, special payrolls (bonuses, year-end adjustments), and managing moving/disability payments.
  • Be the key contact for benefits administration, including working with vendors, managing open enrollment (401(k), health, life), and auditing invoices.
  • Administer key programs such as VAC/PTO, FMLA, STD, and Workers’ Comp.
  • Provide accurate and timely answers to managers and employees on all HR topics, including PTO, garnishments, tax issues, and employment verification.

Employee Relations & Office Support

  • Guide employee relations and conflict resolution to support a productive and positive workplace culture.
  • Prepare and communicate critical HR documents, including offer letters and policy updates.
  • Provide essential administrative and operational support for the office, including greeting visitors, scheduling, supply management, and organizing company events.
  • Lead efforts to improve HR processes and drive the initiative for a more efficient, paperless environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR or administrative experience required; 3+ years preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
  • HRIS Expertise: Experience with BambooHR is required.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Mindset: A willingness to learn, adapt, and drive efficiency in a dynamic, multi-location environment.

Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
