Washington State (hybrid or remote) About Our Client Our client is a well-established California-based plaintiff-side employment law firm with a strong track record of representing employees in workplace disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims. As part of their strategic growth, they are expanding into Washington State and are seeking a skilled Employment Attorney to join their team and help build their presence in the region. Position Overview On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Employment Attorney licensed in Washington who will play a pivotal role in this expansion. This attorney will handle a variety of plaintiff-side employment law matters and work closely with the firm’s California team while establishing and growing the practice in Washington. Key Responsibilities Represent employees in a wide range of employment disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and wrongful termination. Manage cases from intake through resolution, including pre-litigation demands, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. Collaborate with California-based attorneys while building strong client relationships in Washington. Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and appear in both state and federal court. Contribute to business development initiatives that support the firm’s growth in the Washington market. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Washington State (required). 2+ years of employment litigation experience. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to thrive independently while being part of a collaborative, multi-state team. Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building a new practice region.
