Description The Team Coordinator is an integral member of a team devoted to developing a strong student-centered culture within the department and college wide by performing a wide variety of administrative duties to support Academic Services. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment with accuracy and attention to detail are required.

Examples of Duties

Greets and assists students, faculty, staff, and visitors with directions to the appropriate office or administrative assistant. Provides exemplary customer service to all inquiries and follow up communications (in-person, telephone, email, print) with a strong knowledge of college policies and enrollment and academic procedures. Processes a variety of documents, forms, reports, report validation, mail merge, electronic calendars, web page updates, digital forms, and communications for Academic Services. Works closely with the Dean of Assessment, Curriculum, Research and Compliance to create agreements between colleges and K-12 school districts. Compiles paperwork for Adjunct Faculty approvals from the K-12 school districts. Responsible for maintaining the management of confidential records, ensuring the integrity of academic records, and other college policies, state, and federal regulations. Works closely with K-12 school districts to provide administrative support for creation of external documentation including Adjunct Faculty approvals and Memorandum of Understanding agreements. Maintains all websites for the department. Assists in the testing of all ERP software upgrades or other existing software related to Academic Services. Serves as recording secretary to the Curriculum Committee/Academic Council on both campuses. Ensures paperwork and follow-up documentation is completed for all approved curriculum updates from the Curriculum Committee/Academic Council on both campuses. Assists in large Banner projects during the academic year, such as system changes with course pre-requisites, which are labor intensive and require strong system knowledge and expertise. Ability to multitask and clear working knowledge of Office Suites products. Order supplies and create requisitions, as needed, for the department. Participates in approved professional development activities. Performs other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred Three years' experience in a related professional office environment required. Prior experience in higher ed or educational setting preferred. Experience with Ellucian Banner, Anthology, or similar ERP system preferred. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Proficient in accurate processing of forms and data entry; detail oriented. Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours to meet department and College needs Possess the ability to work well and communicate effectively with prospective and current students, staff, faculty, administration, and colleagues and community partners Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff and a commitment to a student-centered environment If certain conditions exist, this position requires you to have access to personal technological equipment and capabilities to perform your duties. Flexible Spending Accounts:

The flexible spending program allows you to deduct pre-tax dollars which can be used for co-pays, deductibles, dental, vision, and dependent day care. The medical limit is $2,650 per year, and the dependent care limit is $5,000 per year.

Tuition Reimbursement/Waiver-

RCSJ offers tuition reimbursement for up to 12 credits per fiscal year. The College also offer a tuition waiver for RCSJ courses for employees and eligible dependents.
