Overview Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing organization seeking an Accounting Manager. The candidate will report to the General Manager with oversight by the CFO and will provide support to senior and executive management on a broad range of accounting, financial, and tactical issues relevant to Acme. The role focuses on monthly financial and managerial reporting, tooling tracking and billing, inventory accuracy, issuing weekly payments, and overseeing two accounting staff. Proficiency in financial and cost accounting, understanding of enterprise/accounting systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel are required. Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Reasons To Work Here Growing, stable business Bonus – Around 5% Strong progression opportunities 401k plan Long and short term disability Life and accidental death Employee Assistance Program Strong medical / dental / vision Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial and managerial statements including an analytical summary Prepare monthly reconciliations and closing entries Oversee two accounting staff performing billing, collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll Perform variance analyses Oversee, develop, and ensure compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls Provide support, complete special projects, and deliver ad-hoc reports to management upon request Coordinate and oversee inventory accuracy, including semi-annual physical inventories Maintain product routers, standard costs and pricing based on customer quotations with quarterly cost updates Maintain the fixed asset system – Bassets eDepreciation Learn and serve as a training resource for the Odyssey ERP Requirements And Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Five to seven years of relevant experience; manufacturing background strongly preferred Excellent communication skills to interact with factory personnel through senior management Ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish Detail oriented, deadline-driven and self-motivated Experience in Lean or continuous improvement environments highly desired Experience with fixed asset and/or report writing software (Bassets/Crystal Reports a plus) Job Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries: Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Creative Financial Staffing (CFS).
