Overview Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Manager to join their team! Join a dynamic professional services firm as an Accounting Manager, where you will lead billing and collections functions and support key financial operations. Reporting directly to the CFO/Controller, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of accounting practices while contributing to strategic financial planning, month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in a collaborative environment and drive impactful financial strategies. Location Houston, Texas Compensation $100,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience Key Responsibilities & Duties Oversee monthly client invoice preparation and uploads Manage complex billing scenarios and client-specific requests Administer e-billing processes and resolve invoice issues Review and approve billing edits, write-offs, and rate adjustments Train and mentor billing staff Monitor accounts receivable and collection activities Manage monthly close process and financial report generation Assist in preparing financial statements and tax returns Engage with attorneys for ad hoc financial requests Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in professional services Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance Proficient in Elite, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Demonstrated leadership and communication skills Nice to Have Skills & Experience CPA certification Experience with e-Billing Hub and client platforms Knowledge of partnership tax returns and external audits Robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Eligible for hybrid work schedule after 90 days Firm-paid garage parking or monthly METRO bus pass Access to building’s gym and amenity floor About the Job Posting If you are interested in learning more about the Accounting Manager opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
