Job Description Job Title: Household Goods Operation Supervisor Fluent Japanese And English (bilingual) Skills Are Required Job Description Job Title: Household Goods Operation Supervisor Fluent Japanese And English (bilingual) Skills Are Required Office Location: Atlanta, GA 30354 Department: Operations Status: Full-Time (Exempt) Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM (Overtime may be required) Reports To: Assistant Manager, Household Goods Operations Job Summary This is a hands-on supervisory role within the Household Goods Operations team. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily activities related to handling, packing, and moving personal belongings for individual and family relocations. The role includes team management, operational oversight, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Team Supervision and Leadership Supervise Household Goods Associates and Leads Provide daily guidance in packing, crating, and transportation Monitor team performance and KPIs Conduct team meetings and training sessions Promote a positive and safe work environment Coach and develop staff, especially on packing and safety standards Daily Operations Management Manage all stages of household goods shipments, from planning to delivery Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Oversee accurate data entry and inventory tracking Review and prepare documentation (e.g., inventory lists, customs forms, bills of lading) Coordinate with moving companies, carriers, and vendors Resolve routine operational issues and escalate major concerns Compliance and Safety Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and legal regulations Oversee safe and correct use of packing materials and equipment Minimize damage and injury through enforcement of proper procedures Customer Service Serve as point of contact for customer inquiries Communicate shipment updates and resolve customer complaints Provide professional support via email and phone Escalate complex customer issues when necessary Process Improvement Identify workflow improvement opportunities Suggest updates to SOPs and support new implementations Reporting and Communication Provide status reports and operational updates to management Maintain accurate records and documentation Required Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in household goods or related operations Previous supervisory or lead role experience preferred Strong knowledge of packing, crating, and transportation Understanding of transportation laws and customs procedures Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in logistics software and systems Preferred Qualifications Experience with international household goods shipments Knowledge of advanced packing and crating techniques Familiarity with claims management processes Experience with internal systems used in logistics operations To apply, please email resume to airaha@pasona.com Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Pasona N A, Inc. by 2x Get notified about new Operations Supervisor jobs in Atlanta, GA .
