Position: MIG Welding Specialist (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available)

Location: Manchester, IA

Compensation: $23 per hour + shift premium $2.00 - $4.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Use hand-held welding and flame-cutting equipment to assemble products by joining metal components according to instructions and procedures.
• Prepare for work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists; gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Accurately position parts and subassemblies using templates or by taking precise measurements.
• Inspect connections to ensure proper fit and securely fasten parts using hand-held welding equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to established procedures, rules, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior welding experience.
• Proficient in MIG welding techniques with a hand-held welder.
• Basic understanding of shop mathematics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications effectively.
