Overview
Looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Transformation Project Manager to provide project management and coordination support for a global HR transformation program. This role will work closely with the Program Director, HR workstream leads, IT, and external partners to ensure successful execution of program activities, including planning, milestone tracking, status reporting, planning meeting coordination and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management with exposure to large scale implementations and HR process change initiatives in global, complex organizations. Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr Contract duration: 2 year Work location: Hybrid -
Chicago, IL Responsibilities
Support the Program Director in the day-to-day management of the global HR transformation program. Maintain SmartSheet framework and facilitate workstream management of project plans, trackers, timelines, and risk/issue logs. Develop and automate dashboards, reports, and trackers in SmartSheet for program leadership and stakeholders. Prepare project governance materials (status reports, steering committee decks). Coordinate project deliverables and ensure alignment with overall program milestones. Partner with HR process leads, IT teams, and system integrators to track progress of configuration, integrations, and testing activities. Assist with data migration, cutover planning, and deployment readiness tracking. Support regional HR leads and local country teams in aligning with the global rollout schedule. Qualifications
5 years of project management or PMO experience. Prior involvement in HR system implementations preferred. Experience supporting global programs with multiple stakeholders across regions. Experience with SmartSheet, building program dashboards, reports, and automated workflows. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and reporting dashboards. Highly organized with strong attention to detail; effective communicator with ability to influence at all organizational levels and for stakeholder reporting. Ability to manage competing priorities and support multiple workstreams; collaborative, adaptable, and proactive problem-solver; results-oriented with a focus on delivery and accountability.
