SkyBridge Luxury & Associates
have partnered with a
large luxury resort
in the
Tampa area
to hire their next
Director of Sales & Marketing . The Director of Sales & Marketing will be a dynamic, strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, brand positioning, and market share for our luxury resort in Central Florida. This role oversees all sales, marketing, and revenue-generating initiatives, ensuring alignment with the resort’s service standards and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in luxury hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop innovative strategies that attract high-value leisure, group, and corporate business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize room, F&B, spa, golf, and event revenue.
Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and departmental revenue goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel partners, luxury consortia, meeting planners, and corporate clients.
Proactively identify new business opportunities within domestic and international markets.
Marketing & Brand Management
Oversee the development and implementation of creative marketing campaigns across digital, print, PR, and social media platforms.
Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging aligned with the resort’s luxury identity.
Partner with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies, distribution channels, and promotional offers.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategies and maintain competitive positioning.
Operational & Strategic Excellence
Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure cohesive revenue and guest experience strategies.
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives.
Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and ROI analyses to ensure effective allocation of resources.
Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and market presence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience in luxury hospitality, with at least 3 years in a director-level role.
Proven success in driving revenue growth in resort or destination properties.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Expertise in digital marketing, revenue management principles, and luxury brand positioning.
Established network within the luxury travel, group, and corporate segments strongly preferred.
