Overview
A busy entrepreneur in NY is seeking an estate manager to join the team and help everything run smoothly.
The candidate should already be living locally or within a commutable distance to NYC.
Prior experience is a must.
This position is looking to start in November, if possible.
Responsibilities
Comprehensive oversight of one or more residences when it comes to facilities oversight, hospitality coordination, and team alignment
Ensuring that each property runs at the highest standards of maintenance, presentation, and service
Coordinate with trusted vendors, oversee household operations, and be the go-to person for all facilities' needs.
Working under the guidance of the Director of Residence
Ensuring that the residences conduct daily property walkthroughs, develop ongoing maintenance plans, and checklists
Coordinate all vendor-led service and maintenance activity (HVAC, AV/IT, landscaping, security, pool, plumbing, etc.)
Serve as a point of contact for facilities issues, including emergent repairs, capital projects, and seasonal readiness.s
Review and enforce vendor service agreements and maintenance logs; escalate delays or quality concerns to senior leadership.
Oversee property readiness before Principal or guest arrivals, including safety checks, staging, and system testing.
Supervise on-site housekeeping, estates, and hospitality staff for the property or region.
Manage daily and weekly schedules, provide quality control oversight, and support staff training on SOPs.
Requirements
Legal to work in the US
Prior high-end residential experience with vendor oversight
Prior facilities or property maintenance experience is a plus
Highly organized
Resourceful problem solver
Tech-savvy
Detail-oriented
Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
