Senior Development Manager – Residential
Coral Gables, FL | Full-Time | Real Estate Development
a privately held real estate investment and development firm based in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a Senior Development Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of multiple residential development projects. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in real estate development or construction, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage complex project workflows from entitlement to closeout.
This position will work closely with senior leadership and act as a key driver of project success across growing portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee multiple residential development projects from pre-development through construction and completion.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality standards across assigned projects.
- Lead coordination of design teams, contractors, consultants, and external professionals.
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence, including environmental, geotechnical, zoning, and entitlement review.
- Interpret and review architectural, civil, MEP, and interior plans for feasibility and value engineering.
- Liaise with local municipalities and government agencies to secure permits, approvals, and entitlements.
- Maintain thorough project documentation using internal project management systems.
- Support preparation of status reports for internal stakeholders, lenders, and investors.
- Conduct market research and contribute to feasibility studies and investment strategies.
- Assist in the development of marketing, leasing, and sales strategies for active projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8–10 years of professional experience in real estate development, construction, or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects across various phases.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and architectural plans.
- Bachelor's degree in, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
