Senior Development Manager – Residential

Coral Gables, FL | Full-Time | Real Estate Development

a privately held real estate investment and development firm based in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a Senior Development Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of multiple residential development projects. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in real estate development or construction, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage complex project workflows from entitlement to closeout.

This position will work closely with senior leadership and act as a key driver of project success across growing portfolio.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee multiple residential development projects from pre-development through construction and completion.
  • Manage project budgets , schedules , and quality standards across assigned projects.
  • Lead coordination of design teams , contractors , consultants , and external professionals.
  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence , including environmental, geotechnical, zoning, and entitlement review.
  • Interpret and review architectural, civil, MEP , and interior plans for feasibility and value engineering.
  • Liaise with local municipalities and government agencies to secure permits, approvals, and entitlements.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation using internal project management systems.
  • Support preparation of status reports for internal stakeholders, lenders, and investors.
  • Conduct market research and contribute to feasibility studies and investment strategies.
  • Assist in the development of marketing, leasing, and sales strategies for active projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8–10 years of professional experience in real estate development , construction , or a related field.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects across various phases.
  • Strong project management , organizational , and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish .
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and architectural plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in, Construction Management , Engineering , Architecture , or related field (preferred).
