Why this job – JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN:
Exciting opportunity for a skilled, dependable Journeyman Electrician to join a dedicated team contributing to significant commercial and industrial projects in the Bozeman area. In this role, you'll work primarily on 4-day workweeks, installing conduit, wiring systems, lighting controls, and service installations on commercial, government and institutional projects. You'll be part of a hardworking, close-knit crew where collaboration and reliability are key. With opportunities for growth and leadership, you'll help drive quality workmanship and support a culture of excellence and employee care.
What You'll Actually Do:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts and installations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues across high and low voltage systems
- Collaborate with other trades to ensure efficient and timely project completion
- Perform electrical renovations while adhering to safety regulations and NEC standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- Current Montana Journeyman Electrician license
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with commercial and industrial projects needed
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative crew.
- Reliable, honest, team-oriented attitude and strong problem-solving skills
Where and How Much:
- Target Compensation $36.30 – $49.50/hour
