12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours/week
Guaranteed Hours:
36 per week
Weekend Rotation:
Every other weekend
Holiday Expectations:
Work 75% of holidays

Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
Minimum 18 months of recent Progressive Care Unit RN experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Expertise in cardiac rhythm interpretation, cardiac gtt, tracheostomy care, chest tubes, blood product administration, wound care/dressing changes, and central line management
Experience with EMR (EPIC), Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors
Ability to float within Cleveland, Kings Mountain, Lincoln, and Central Division facilities
PCU RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU patients with CHF, dysrhythmia, chest pain, stroke, abdominal illnesses, respiratory illness, diabetes, AKI/CKD, ETOH withdrawal, and more
Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 (occasionally 1:5 based on acuity)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists
Monitor telemetry at bedside and nurses station
Float to regional healthcare facilities as needed
Attend facility and unit orientation (NEO and 2 days departmental)
Comply with scheduling cycles and approved time off policies
