Job Description
Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a skilled Finance Project Implementation Manager to join one of our clients on an interim basis. This role focuses on leading critical payroll and finance system projects, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the consolidation and standardization of payroll systems across business units into the Paylocity platform.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and finance teams to align payroll processes and address integration challenges.
• Lead the planning and execution of the Acumatica finance system implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Define system requirements and workflows to optimize financial reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Manage cross-departmental collaboration with external consultants and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct data migration, testing, and integration between Paylocity, Acumatica, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop and execute change management strategies to support smooth transitions during system implementations.
• Train end-users on new systems to ensure effective adoption and utilization.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout project phases, ensuring compliance with payroll and financial regulations.
• Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders to maintain alignment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, particularly in financial systems or consulting environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in payroll system consolidation and finance system implementations, preferably with Paylocity and Acumatica.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, accounting principles, and system integration best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Paylocity and Acumatica or similar platforms.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
