Soni is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for a diverse real estate portfolio, including both commercial and residential properties. The role involves leadership of day-to-day accounting functions, oversight of billing and collections, vendor management, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Team & Operations

• Lead and support accounting staff to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  
  
• Provide oversight for daily, monthly, and annual financial processes.
  
  
• Act as a liaison between internal teams, tenants, and external partners.

• Manage billing and collections related to leases across commercial and residential properties.
  
  
• Ensure tenant records are accurate and up to date.
  
  
• Support financial integration for newly acquired assets and review leasing data as needed.
  
  
• Monitor rent schedules, reconciliations, and adjustments.

• Oversee disbursements to vendors, contractors, and tax authorities.
  
  
• Supervise check runs, tax payments, and contract transitions.
  
  
• Work closely with accountants and auditors to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to both payables and receivables.
  
  
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting practices and lease administration.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with accounting or property management systems preferred.
  
  
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  
  Compensation: $90,000-$100,000
  Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
