A nationally recognized labor and employment law firm is seeking a
Senior Associate
to join their Seattle office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled attorney to work alongside a dynamic team and manage complex employment litigation cases. The ideal candidate will be involved in every aspect of litigation, including direct client interaction, case strategy, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in depositions, hearings, and trials. They are looking for a confident, proactive attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding client service. Base pay range:
$195,000.00/yr - $215,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Manage employment litigation cases from inception to resolution Draft and respond to discovery, initial pleadings, dispositive motions, and agency position statements Argue motions and represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials Advise clients on workplace policies, compliance matters, and day-to-day legal challenges Collaborate with multiple partners and mentor junior associates as needed Engage in persuasive advocacy while maintaining excellent legal writing and analytical skills Qualifications
4-6 years of employment litigation experience with at least 3 years in defense Barred and in good standing in the State of Washington Proven experience defending employers in disputes involving discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour matters Proficient in drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings, arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions Strong academic credentials and superior writing and analytical skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Experience advising clients on workplace policies is a plus Benefits
