Overview
BCM Law, P.C., is seeking an experienced, organized and highly motivated team member to join our growing firm as a full-time IT Support Specialist. This position is responsible for managing the firm’s day-to-day IT operations, with a strong focus on help desk support. This role is ideal for a help desk professional eager to expand their skills in areas like Microsoft Admin Center, Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint, while also taking on new projects. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting all network hardware, troubleshooting, monitoring network usage, and contributing to various IT-related projects. Base pay range
$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Serve as the primary help desk contact, providing exceptional technical support to end users, including troubleshooting procedures and problem resolution for hardware, software, and cloud-based services such as Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. Set up and configure firm desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and telephone equipment in accordance with firm guidelines. Conduct setup and training for all new hires during orientation, ensuring smooth onboarding and effective use of IT resources, including Microsoft 365. Communicate with external IT vendors to resolve technical issues, acting as a liaison between the firm and external support teams. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and cloud services issues, including desktop equipment, printers, telecommunication equipment, and issues related to Microsoft Admin Center, Azure, and SharePoint. Offer insight and best practices for network and computer security, including troubleshooting firewalls, email, and spam. Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software, licenses, and firm passwords. Facilitate repairs, replacements, and new equipment purchases when necessary. Assist in project plans and development, contributing to the firm’s IT initiatives, particularly in managing cloud-based infrastructure through Azure. Qualifications
Associate degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience (preferred). Minimum of 3 years of technical support experience in a Windows-based environment, preferably within a legal setting. Experience with Microsoft Admin Center, Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint. Software certifications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred. Experience working with vendors, managing contracts, and negotiating software licenses. Ability to prioritize and multitask, managing competing deadlines. Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for the IT Support Specialist role is $50,000 - $60,000. The range represents a good faith estimate that BCM Law reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of posting. Compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
