Principal Consultant - US. Infosys is seeking an
OSS Consultant . This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design; play an important role in creating high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module; lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL and be willing to relocate; this position may require travel to project locations. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be substituted for every year of education. At least 11 years of Information Technology experience. At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology as Project Manager. At least 3+ years of experience in OSS/BSS Domain and working in Telecom Industry as Project Manager. Knowledge of service provisioning, service assurance, order provisioning, and operations management. Experience in project management, global delivery model, support program & product management, project design review, and project audit. Programming/development tools: Java, Apache/Tomcat, Kafka, Microservices, Spring Boot. Databases: Oracle, NoSQL. DevOps tools: CI/CD, Jenkins, Jira, Git. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in network protocols such as GPON, Ethernet, VOIP, etc. Experience in network services such as Ethernet, SD-WAN, Broadband, VOIP, 3G/4G. Additional Details
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements. About Us
