Job Responsibilities
Perform patient care tasks as authorized, including assisting with treatments and procedures, preparing patients for exams, and documenting vital signs and complaints. Administer immunizations under provider supervision, ensuring proper consent and documentation. Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and manage referral coordination for consults and diagnostics. Stock and check exam rooms daily, manage sample medications, and uphold infection control standards. Collaborate with environmental services to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment. Adapt to changing work environments, support team activities, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program. Licenses and Certifications
Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire. Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques. Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
