Job Responsibilities
Perform patient care tasks as directed by providers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of orders. Facilitate patient flow to optimize clinic operations and enhance patient satisfaction, communicating effectively about wait times. Assist with treatments and procedures, preparing necessary supplies and ensuring proper consent is obtained. Administer immunizations under provider supervision, adhering to legal and safety guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and manage referral coordination for consults and diagnostics. Conduct daily room checks, stock exam rooms, manage sample medications, and uphold infection control standards. Collaborate with environmental services to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment. Engage in ongoing learning, teamwork, and contribute positively to the workplace culture. Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program. Licenses and Certifications
Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire. Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques. Proficiency with technology, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently with sound judgment.
