Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region, where you will play a vital role in supporting providers and ensuring smooth, efficient patient care. As a Medical Assistant, you will perform patient care duties within your licensed scope, assist with treatments and procedures, and help maintain a positive experience for all patients.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out provider orders accurately and promptly, facilitating patient flow and communication to minimize wait times. Assist with treatments and procedures, ensuring all necessary consents are obtained and supplies are prepared. Administer immunizations under provider supervision, adhering to state regulations and documentation requirements. Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records, including documenting patient complaints, vital signs, and exam preparations. Coordinate referrals efficiently by communicating with referral coordinators and completing related tasks. Perform daily room checks, stock exam rooms, manage sample medications, and uphold infection control standards. Collaborate with environmental services to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment. Engage in teamwork, support new team members, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program. Licenses and Certifications

Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 90 days of hire. Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques. Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and perform independent judgment in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and fostering collaborative relationships with healthcare providers and patients.
