Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Medical Assistant on a PRN basis. This role is essential in supporting healthcare providers by delivering patient care duties that ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality clinical operations, fostering positive patient experiences.

Job Summary

As a vital member of the clinic team, you will perform patient care within the scope of your medical assistant license, accurately carrying out provider orders and facilitating patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency. You will assist with treatments and procedures, prepare patients for exams, administer immunizations under supervision, and maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.

Key Responsibilities

Perform patient care tasks and assist providers within the MA scope of practice. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members to manage wait times and patient flow. Administer immunizations as ordered and ensure proper documentation and compliance with health regulations. Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, manage sample medications, and uphold infection control standards. Coordinate referrals and communicate with referral coordinators to ensure timely processing. Support a clean and safe clinical environment in collaboration with environmental services. Engage in ongoing learning, teamwork, and uphold professional and ethical standards. Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program. Licenses and Certifications

Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire. Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques. Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
