Act as the go-to person for solution or product questions within the sales team and engage with customers at all levels to demonstrate how SAP BTP accelerates innovation and delivers business value. Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader, bridging technology and business outcomes across the sales cycle—from opportunity identification to post-sale support. Assist customers in expanding their SAP footprint to maximize value. Design and deliver demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and architectural guidance aligned to customer needs. Drive customer adoption and consumption of BTP solutions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure engagement and alignment. Provide thought leadership through customer engagements, events, blogs, webinars, and industry forums. Develop deep expertise in SAP BTP, industry trends, and emerging technologies (AI, ML, data-driven applications). Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, articulating SAP BTP’s value proposition and differentiation. Collaborate with sales, product management, services, customer success, and partner ecosystem to ensure consistent engagement. Demonstrate modern app development capabilities on BTP and enable customers to extend SAP and third-party applications. Position SAP HANA Cloud as the foundation for enterprise data management and leverage features such as Vector Engine and Knowledge Graph. Guide customers on API management and integration across hybrid landscapes. Lead initiatives for Business AI adoption and responsible AI capabilities to deliver measurable outcomes. What You Bring
Professional experience with software/IT organizations, preferably in a solution-specific segment; SAP product experience and/or 5+ years of relevant solutions. Working knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/PaaS models in a B2B environment. Viewed as a solutions/Lines of Business/Industry expert across SAP with a track record of success. Ability to craft compelling storylines for customer interactions and quickly understand customer goals to center recommendations. Passion and energy in all customer interactions. Experience
10+ years of professional work experience. Proven track record in presales, solution engineering, or customer-facing technical roles. Preferred: strong knowledge of SAP BTP with emphasis on application development, AI/ML, HANA Cloud, API management, and integration. Hands-on experience with application development tools/languages (low/pro-code, Mendix, Salesforce, JavaScript, Python) and/or integration tools (Mulesoft, Boomi). Knowledge of hyperscaler offerings (Azure, GCP, AWS). Experience building and presenting solution architectures for enterprise customers. Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills; strong executive presence. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead conversations on digital transformation. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Meet Your Team
