Open Rank - Academic Cardio-Oncologist/General Cardiologist. In partnership with H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences, Section of Cardio-Oncology seeks an academic non-invasive general cardiologist for a full-time position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. This is a full-time 12-month salaried faculty appointment and carries attending staff privileges at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa General Hospital and affiliated hospitals. Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor requires a minimum of five years of continuing and productive service as an Assistant Professor, or the equivalent. Appointment at the rank of Full Professor requires a minimum of five years of continuing and productive service as an Associate Professor, or the equivalent. Responsibilities

Administrative Duties: Complete clinical obligations such as chart completion, patient follow-up, etc. Clinical Duties: Participate in inpatient consultations and outpatient care primarily at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. Participate in inpatient general cardiology consult service, non-invasive call & coverage, reading EKGs and Stress Tests. Opportunity to participate in Echo Lab and Call & Coverage. Echo reads if certified from a nationally accredited organization. Participate in outpatient clinics for Moffitt Cancer Center and USF Health; diagnose and treat disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system. Participate in didactic teaching and mentoring of medical and/or graduate students, residents, and/or post-doctoral fellows. Perform patient exams and order or conduct diagnostic testing; develop ongoing treatment and disease-management plans; prescribe medicines and coordinate referrals as necessary. Conduct early-detection screenings; maintain accurate patient records and charts; communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and administration. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Doctoral/Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. For Associate or Full Professor - normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in refereed and other professional journals, and be a recognized authority in the field of specialization. Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent required. To perform this position, the candidate will need to obtain and maintain a full unrestricted FL Medical License, maintain credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan, and be a medical staff member in good standing at the hospitals he/she is assigned to perform clinical duties. The candidate will participate in the teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical medicine. Candidates must be board-certified in Internal Medicine/Cardiovascular Sciences. Preferred Qualifications

Fellowship training in cardio-oncology, certification from the International Cardio-Oncology Society or proven interests in cardio-oncology. Teaching experience with students/residents, experience with administrative organization/leadership of outpatient practices, and/or clinical research/scholarship experience are advantageous. Level II certification in Echocardiography is preferred. Expertise in adult non-invasive assessment of heart disease, including surface echo and trans-esophageal echocardiography, and stress testing. Experience with exercise testing, ECG interpretation, consulting and attending in a coronary intensive care unit or similar environment. About Us
