Job Description This role is field-based and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience. This geography covers Northern Las Vegas, Summerlin, and all of Northern Nevada (Reno, Tahoe, Sparks, Carson City, etc.).
Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, drive sales performance, effectively manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, and employ customer needs solving capability to maximize short and long term sales performance. Place the patient at the center of all efforts and operate within AbbVie\'s business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. to meet or exceed objectives.
Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and perform post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections and gain action on sales calls.
Proactively serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements.
Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
Build understanding of customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, and product knowledge; share market intelligence with in-field team and brand/sales leadership to align and optimize strategy.
Differentiate AbbVie\'s value proposition with health providers and identify disease state experts and speakers to maximize brand performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant equivalent industry experience.
Five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, with three (3) or more years in sales; high school diploma/GED required if no degree.
Proven track record in selling with strong presentation skills. Ability to adapt selling style to customer needs and provide innovative solutions.
Influences others and builds collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams. Demonstrates leadership and positive behaviors under change in environment.
Demonstrates scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen; ability to operate in a matrix environment.
Valid driver\'s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; ability to drive personal or company vehicle.
Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to gain entry into facilities in the assigned territory and maintain credentials as required.
Additional Information The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of posting based on the job grade for this position. Compensation may vary by geographic location and other factors. The company may modify the range in the future.
