We are hiring a product manager to drive our Stripe Cards Vault product efforts and strategy globally. This product manager will own a critical card payments performance product used by millions of Stripe customers to tokenize, manage and update their card credentials. Our Cards Vault helps grow revenue and reduce user churn by providing secure, up-to-date credentials for returning customers. You will own the roadmap and business impact of one of Stripe’s core, business-critical products. You will engage with key ecosystem partners such as card networks, partner with an Engineering lead, and collaborate with GTM teams to ensure Stripe’s card updater and tokenization solutions set an industry-leading standard. Develop the long-term vision and strategy for Stripe’s Card updater capabilities Develop a holistic strategy for Stripe’s tokenization solutions to support multiprocessor strategy Engage with users to understand needs, pain points, and opportunities; build and launch new capabilities that bring significant value to customers Set priorities and execution roadmap; collaborate with engineering to identify novel opportunities Work with Finance to maintain product P&L and identify growth opportunities Collaborate with Data Science, Product Marketing, Payments Strategists and GTM teams to deliver a high-quality product experience Who you are
Minimum requirements and preferred qualifications are as described below; preferred qualifications are a bonus, not required. Minimum Requirements
Product experience: 5+ years Strong business acumen; ability to identify how to make a business better and deliver value Analytical horsepower; data-driven, first-principles thinker Results-oriented; able to execute on complex projects Customer and partner facing experience; comfortable in front of customers or third-party collaborators Operationally savvy; capable of designing and driving a cross-functional team and process Crisp communicator; precise and effective communications with external customers/partners Preferred Qualifications
Experience in or knowledge of card-based payments or payments in general Experience with SQL or willingness to learn Experience working with products with complex technical systems Experience in external-facing roles (sales, partnerships) and business negotiation Hybrid work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). In-office and remote expectations
Office: spend at least 50% of time in the local office or with users. Remote: regular work from home; Stripe does not cover relocation costs. Apply for roles based on your location. Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $178,600 - $268,000. Including potential bonuses or equity, benefits may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k); medical, dental, and vision benefits; wellness stipends. Salary ranges may vary by location and level; exact range will be discussed during interviews. Seniority level
