The Senior Fund Accountant will oversee a range of financial and accounting functions, along with special projects that support fund operations. Key responsibilities include calculating and reconciling Net Asset Value (NAV), preparing and analyzing fund financial statements, managing investor reporting and communications, producing management and KPI reports, forecasting cash flow and liquidity, and collaborating across departments and with external partners. Primary Responsibilities
Quarterly & Annual Reporting : Lead the preparation and reconciliation of fund NAV and financial statements for limited partners in coordination with the fund administrator. Capital Activity : Manage capital calls, distributions, and partner account statements. Audit & Tax Support : Assist with year-end audit and tax processes, including drafting financial statement footnotes. Investor Relations : Respond to investor inquiries promptly and professionally. Credit Facility Management : Initiate and monitor borrowings under fund credit facilities, ensuring compliance with covenants. Cash Management : Oversee fund cash needs and coordinate daily wire transfers for investments. Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in public accounting or industry accounting. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred. Prior experience or strong interest in private equity or fund accounting. Advanced Excel skills (including Macros and Queries) with a desire to continue developing technical proficiency. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Motivated to grow professionally in an entrepreneurial environment.
