LHH is partnering with a private equity management firm to add an Associate to their team. The role will collaborate on managing fund admins, perform hands-on fund accounting tasks, and have some light FP&A responsibilities. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of fund cash forecasts and coordinate the capital call and distribution processes Coordinate the calculation of NAVs with third party administrators and maintain accounting records of fund and/or separate account portfolios. Review financial statements quarterly Analyze and interpret deal documentation for accounting and financial reporting purposes, including accurate application of distribution waterfall to calculate incentive allocations and performance returns Prepare internal asset management reports Ensure accuracy and proper accounting treatment of investment activities of the entities Verify accounting treatment of investor activities including contributions and withdrawals, funded and unfunded commitments, calculation of asset-based fees and expenses, allocation of income/loss and expenses, NAV computation, series accounting, and calculation of Internal Rate of Return Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics 2+ years of experience; Big 4 public accounting, fund accounting with an alternative asset manager, and real estate experience preferred 2+ years of private equity experience preferred Solid foundation in Excel-based financial modeling, prior valuations experience preferred Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP Benefits Overview
